The certified audit company Bureau Veritas Certification has awarded AS GoBus with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management certificate – testament to the company’s commitment to being professional and consistent in its business activities.
The implementation of the certified quality management system guarantees smooth business operations and maintains the company’s competitiveness by allowing the company to respond to the constantly changing requirements on the increasingly competitive global market.
Companies that hold the certificate, which confirms its compliance with quality standards, proves that its focus is on quality and that it adheres to certain quality standards in order to earn the trust of its clients and partners.
The certificate, which confirms the high quality of a bus and coach company, was issued for the first time in 2003 and its recipient was AS Tarbus (then OÜ Tarbus), which also belongs to the Go Group. The certificate has only been issued to three other bus and coach companies in Estonia.
Achieving the standard usually takes years of dedicated work. As Go Group already had the necessary experience, Go Bus managed to complete all of the proceedings required to obtain the certificate in just four months. Compliance with the standard is assessed by a certified audit company that examines all of the described activities and procedures in great detail. If the organisation of work in the company meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard, the audit company issues it with the relevant certificate.
The quality management system is a continuous process. An external audit assesses compliance with the standard once a year and a re-certification audit equivalent to the first audit is carried out once every three years. The company itself also has to audit all of its areas every year.
